SDRC - About Us

SDRC - The Secunderabad Diagnostic & Research Centre is a laboratory providing diagnostic services to its clients. The diagnostic centre’s mission is “to serve the cause of diagnostic medicine with total dedication and commitment giving top priority to quality.” Since it has been under the control of the present director, Dr. Vijay Kumar, since it was established back in 1983, i.e. for 25 years, the laboratory has built a repute of its own.

The motto of the organization is “Truth is Life”. The laboratory believes in being truthful in the reporting of test results and does not engage in disinformation.

The laboratory is tuned to render diagnostic services to the clients with utmost care so that the results are reliable, dependable and repeatable, and aid in bringing in succour.

The laboratory has been under the control of the present director for the past 24 years. The laboratory undertakes responsibility of diagnostic testing to satisfy the requirements and needs of the clients based on established standards as per ISO/IEC 17025/15289 assessed by the National Board of Calibration and Testing Laboratories (NABL). The departments accredited by NABL are Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Haematology, Microbiology, Serology and Cytopathology (Certificate No. M-0053) With this accreditation, SDRC also is affiliated with International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC), hence giving its reports an international accreditation standard.
